Race Swag – Free for Each Paid Registrant

This is our fifth year at the same venue. Since we have access to the property year round and because we have an addiction to cyclocross we keep working on the course. New features include a reconfigured downhill to the run up and a monster banked turn. We have also compacted the courses so that more action takes place near the start/finish line (or the beer tent if you prefer) to make our venue even more spectator friendly.

Each day will have a different course – and not just the same course in the opposite direction – but courses that feel different and possibly reward different skill sets.

Both days of racing are at the same location.  The courses on Saturday and Sunday will be different. Saturday’s course will be open and fast. Sunday’s course is called the Hangover, a little bit technical, a little bit of pain, no need to go for a run and of course there will be some beach time.

Finally, this is CrosstoberFest so it is a celebration of beer as much as bikes. We will have plenty of beer tapped.

Highlights:

  • Free camping at the race site
  • This is a USA Cycling race so you can get  your points
  • A smooth and fast course
  • Shelob’s Lair, Shakedown Street, the Tunnel of Trees, and a few new surprises for this season
  • Master of Ceremonies to keep the mood light and the organization moving
  • DJ Music
  • First race $30, second race of the day 10$, and third race of the day is $5
  • This is a fund raiser for Autism services
